it costs a fortune but the outcome is stupendous.

But.. but !!! i wanna more !!!

Man Kanda animation always impresses me. My favorite thing is how they can portray so much weight and movement through such a small amount of inbetweening. I swear, strong key artists like Imaishi can just animate on only Keyframes and it'd be totally okay.

Yutaka Nakamura too

what show is this from? it looks badass

nvm figured it out after a bit - is it all fma?

All the first was FMA Brotherhood, like the 50% of the good fights of that serie

Everything looks so smooth and constant, not like other anime in which they just keep the character still and put some lame fucking backdrop for effect and have them talking for 3 whole minutes.

u mean like the another 99.99 % of the anime ?

Ha, I was gonna bring up Imaishi but Ego beat me to it.

thanks for the notice

this looks amazing, Ill be honest, Ive kinda lost my love for cartoons these past few years.,. i could really used a great cartoon to get some inspiration back..

so the big question... is the story anygood? or is it complete garbage like half the animes out there.

A very very good story with a big production.

Too much anime is like this. >:(

There's no heart to the stories, allot of production is put into the animation for only a few short seconds.

And most of the popularity is to express that natural high you get when watching something of high adrenaline, tantalizing partial nudity, or some other taboo suggestion such as loli.

Too much anime is all special effects and NO story.

It sucks when you watch it and actually think about it.

Only a few anime's have GREAT stories with GREAT animation.

In really the animation is very consistent in this serie and with a good story

I think Nakamura's a lot better at subtlety and doesn't rely so much on the Kanda stuff. He seems like he learned a lot more from film in his style, which I also really love.

Yeah, i know what you say, but in some scenes Nakamura like drop to 8 fps like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79 LfWlQ9UWw , must be cause money xD

But really, Imaishi can make a jump in like 3 or 4 frames, what cool key animator

I'm not very familiar with allot of anime.

But I know that...

Cowboy Bebop is a "Masterpiece!"
Envangeleon & FLCL are psychological artistically stylish thrillers.
Samurai Champloo is urban flair meets ancient east.
Anything from Miyazaki is like Disney but not bullshit.
Ghost in the Shell *movie is a very cool sci-fi.

Some good movies, sword of strange, summer wars, Akira, afro samurai resurreption, i donot remebmer all, a lot of good ovas and some good series

Wow, the animation and fight choreography in those vids was actually pretty damn impressive. Spazkid is right, most studios just can't afford the top talent, resources, and time it takes to reach that level of quality.

Yeah, fuk the money

Okay granted the new BrotherHood of FullMetalAlchamest is MUCH better.

But it has those retarded anime moments that break the ice. But it's a personal turn off for me. I like my anime's to be consistent.

Completely serious, funny, OR magical.

Slapping BIG time seriousness + those dumb moments in anime is a big turn off for me.

One day, you'll be as great as them. :3

no really

cocks, you need to go watch "summer wars". best stylistic animation choices ever (same guy who made "digimon: the movie", the only good thing with digimon involved)

Yes, is a good movie

FMA: Brotherhood was amazing. I'd seriously buy the DVDs just to support the animators (company)... But you gotta say that they had a lot of time since the old FMA. I don't know when they started animating FMA:B and how long it took them but the outcome was just worth the wait.

I haven't seen such an orgasmic animation in quite a long time. I mean if you check out those 500+ episode-series the animation is just awfully slow. It's like watching the washing machine for 30 minutes straight.

watch the girl who leapt through time if you haven't already

looks like summer wars

This kind of action stuff always has such great intense perspective. Candy for the eyes. Working on a fight scene right now actually, these videos make me want to get back to work on it!

that or make fun of E3

I wouldn't care how long it would take, just as long as the output was worth paying attention too.

ye !

ur beter at animator

oh you !

what anime is this from? I must watch it immediately.

FMA: Bortherhood, i cry tears for it
